Led by Chef Felix Barron IV, KTCHN LA delivers intimate dining experiences in unconventional spaces by combining great food and innovative design.
We believe that food is the foundation of culture so we customize a menu and experiential design to perfectly match the space and vibe of your event to give you the perfect KTCHN LA Experience.
We deliver fresh twists on classics and experimental combinations that create a custom menu for any event. We source our ingredients from local vendors to create the freshest taste for our customers.
In 2009, Felix moved into an industrial space in downtown Los Angeles and launched KTCHN LA—a culinary school built from the ground up, complete with a hand-crafted professional kitchen and a lush garden inspired by Giverny. To drum up interest and introduce his cooking style, he started hosting Sunday brunch pop-ups that summer. What began as a marketing tool quickly took on a life of its own, evolving into a beloved underground dining experience with a loyal foodie following.
Riding the wave of brunch demand in downtown LA, Felix launched KTCHN DTLA—a roaming brunch concept that took over underutilized restaurant spaces every weekend. As momentum grew, so did the appetite for more. That led to a full-time kitchen residency at The Resident in the Arts District, where Felix’s food was served seven days a week, all day, cementing his reputation for bold, craveable cooking in the heart of LA.
